Adult Cognitive Therapies (ACT)
The staff at Chandler House is committed to an engaged, proactive approach to treating memory disorders. Unfortunately, research – like a recent National Institutes of Health study – has shown that interventions such as diet and medications have little positive effect on improving memory skills and slowing cognitive decline.
However, there are therapies that can be employed which at the very least can slow the rate of cognitive decline and maintain memory function and overall quality of life.
At Chandler House, we have packaged these innovative therapies into a program we call Adult Cognitive Therapies, or ACT. Read more about our ACT program.
The Bridge at Chandler House

Statistics show that in the coming years the number of people with Alzheimer’s will increase dramatically. Thus, felt called to provide a state-of-the-art community that would specialize in caring for this population and their families in an individualized and dignified way.
